The C - Word! OMG!

Yes, folks, it's unfortunately true: one thing search engines love is Relevance, and actually, the spiders are pretty darn smart. So One thing I'm beginning to realize about SEO: Content is Important! There it is, the C-Word. From the master of COPY and paste himself comes the realization that truly relevant content is one of the best and most solid ways to stay on top. I tip my hat to Wes Wyatt for bringing this home to me. To paraphrase him, you can cheat the engines with keyword loading and such for a while, but the only thing that really is going to last is writing real and actual content. So I am dusting off the old typing finger and hunting and pecking my way through more and more paragraphs of what I have to say in the way that only I can say it. It does help to know where to put your content and it does help for it to be keyword-rich, but meaning is what the person who finally does get to your site will be looking for, so give them the real and solid ideas they came for. Pour yourself into your content, and I'll bet there are some people who might like what they see, and the spiders will be ecstatic too!
